Marilyn - CFO


Marilyn is the company’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the financial operations of all 3 of our locations. Marilyn joined our team in January of 2009 and has played a significant role in growing our company into what it is today, and navigating the financial nuances specific to our industry.  She has 23 years of experience in her field across industries, with national companies including MINTEQ & Specialty Minerals, Harney & Sons Tea Company, and Skip Barber Racing School.  Marilyn has two teenaged sons and in her free time she enjoys singing, gardening, knitting, and doing anything that involves numbers.  Marilyn is a valued member of our Lippincott Family!

Jessica - Customer Service Manager

Jessica started working for Lippincott in High School as a telemarketer trying to make extra money for prom. Over the last 17 years Jessica has gone from a telemarketer, to our Customer Service Manager! Not only does she manage the telemarketing program, but she also oversees local and long distance sales for all 3 of our locations, as well as all of our marketing and advertising. Jessica takes pride in personally guiding our customers through the moving process, which is often a difficult and stressful time for them.  She is happily married with a 10 year old daughter. In her free time Jessica enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her family. Jessica loves being part of the Lippincott team!

Tim - Moving Specialist

As a native of Winsted, Tim started with our company in 1991 as our local dispatcher.  After 2 years, Tim transferred to our Outside Sales Department, and became our top Moving Specialist. For the past 27 years Tim has been providing our customers with accurate in-home estimates for moving. His wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the moving, packing, and storage process has been an amazing asset to our customers, as well as our company! Tim has been happily married for 28 years, and has 2 children.  Tim enjoys skiing, baseball, entertaining, and is a huge UCONN Fan! We are overjoyed to have Tim as such an important member of our company!

Nicole - Billing

Nicole has worked at Lippincott Van Lines since the fall of 2003. She started as a telemarketer while she attended North Western Connecticut Community College. Upon graduating in 2007 with her Associates in Business Accounting option, Nicole obtained a full time position in our accounting department. Nicole now manages billing for both our Winsted and North Las Vegas locations. Nicole loves the fast pace environment and new people she gets to talk to everyday. With a background in accounting and customer service she’s a real team player! Nicole currently lives with her husband and her 7 “fur-babies”.

Gloria - Dispatch / Customer Service

Gloria became a part of our team in February of 2014, and has become a very important part of our dispatch department. Gloria came to us with 12 years of experience as a Sales Manager and Moving Estimator. Gloria assists in local and long distance operations, accomplishing everything from data entry to dispatching, as well as assisting military members in navigating the complicated and stressful stages of moving while in the service.  As a veteran of the United States Air Force, she can personally relate to the stresses involved with moving while serving your country. . She welcomes new challenges, and the fasted paced world of operations with a happy spirit. Gloria truly loves her job, almost as much as she loves her Yorkie. She is a fan of the New England Patriots, a Green Bay Packers share holder, and holds an avid love for the UCONN Huskies. We are so thankful that she is a part of our team!

Kevin - Local Operations Manager

Kevin started his career at Lippincott in 1980. In 1981 he received his CDL and started driving for Lippincott. At that same time, Kevin was also our outside sales representative, and provided moving estimates to our customers. In 1986 Kevin took a position with Nationwide North American working not only as their outside salesman, but also as their moving manager. In 2011, Kevin decided to come back to his roots at Lippincott, and has been our Local Operations Manager for the last 7 years.  Kevin has 2 sons, and 1 granddaughter. In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing in his band!

 

Marilyn "Maize" Scaglione -Staff Accountant/Human Resources 

Marilyn became a member of our team in 2016 as our Staff Accountant/HR Representative. Before coming to Lippincott, Marilyn gained 12 years of experience in Accounting and Human Resources while working at Huntington Coach in New York, as well as the Kolburne School, Miss Halls School, and Sheffield Pottery in Massachusetts. She is a graduate of SUNY Stonybrook, and has also had her CDL since 2005. Marilyn has been happily married for 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys hosting play-dates for her 11 year old son Donny, hiking with her Siberian Husky and Rottweiler, and practicing Tae Kwondo.
